Latin American stock markets tumbled again yesterday, Monday, in another gloomy day of trading on renewed concerns of hikes in US interest rates. The MSCI Latin American index fell for a sixth day, down 3.4%, as emerging markets worldwide took a big hit. In Argentina, the Merval slid 4.5%, while Mexico and Brazil were both down more than 4% each. And after the Colombian IGBC tumbled by more than 10%, the stock exchange witnessed its first automatic trading suspension since the general price index was created five years ago.
